You've seen her cry, eyes full of tears and sorrow
You hate everything about her, and yet you're still drawn to her
like a fly drawn to a lamp, but can never touch it
Her every complaint, and every comment
is like music to your ears
A single chuckle can make you forget every worry
Her stare stops your heart
You can't breathe, you can't move
Forever trapped in her eyes

Each time she holds an unfamiliar hand,
you die a little
For years,you've pictured yourself holding hers,
in different places and different times
And everytime it ends with you holding nothing,
but an empty thought and an empty heart

Now, she lies in your embrace

Her hands fit yours like a glove
Fingers intertwined
Her hair smells like fresh pine
She says that you smell citrus
She carresses your arm,

It's like what the romance movies have depicted

But you know her heart's still held by another pair of hands
