It's been almost 12 hours since the All American Rejects, right now my throat feels sore and parched, and basicallt that's it. I bet the rest of them must be feeling much worse, with sore legs and arms. It actually pays to jog and weight lift, haa.. *cough cough* sorry, down with the flu bug..
We started queueing outside CornerHotel, the place where the gig was held, at 6 plus, even though doors opened at 8.45. It was a long wait, tempers flared, fists were flying, vulgarities thrown all over the air.... neh, just kidding.. All of us waited "patiently" for the doors to open, and by the time it opened, our backs and feet were already aching..
Had this super huge stamp on my wrist, to "certify" dunno wat.. it's still on my skin now, just can't get it off!
Avalon Drive was the first band to open for the Rejects. They're pretty new to the music scene, but they're pretty good. If you like The Used and Lost Prophets, I think u'll like them. So please check out their music!
That's the lead singer of Avalon Drive..
The next band was Hellogoodbye, which was another indie rock band which I doubt alot of people would know. The lead singer looks like the lead from Weezer, and their songs are similar to them too! Their songs were awesome! Even Jojobar and Shianny liked it! So gals, please check them out!
Hellogoodbye lead singer to the right, and guitariest to the left...
After those two bands, the main attraction was finally here, and it was already 11 plus at night. By that time, drunkards were all around, being irritating and smelly as usual. The curtains opened, and this is what i saw....
Lead Singer Tyson Ritter....
Mike Kennerty as back up vocals...
Tyson and Nick Wheeler (the cute guy that the gals like!) to the left..

The crowd went utterly crazy! I was being pushed and clamped between 10 people, it was pure chaos! There were people jumping up and down so close behind me, and I suddenly remembered "brokeback Mountain".. I screamed every single song, and jumped like a mad idiot! When they sand "Top Of The World", my heart almost stopped! If you guys think songs sound better when recorded in studios than live, you've never be so wrong! I had goosebumps when they sang, and I was so close to the stage that Tyson Ritter was staring at us at certain moments, ahaa!
When the concert was over, Tyson came out and started throwing guitar picks into the crowd!!! I was forcing and ramming my way through to get them, but as usual, luck was never my good friend.. I walked out of the crowd, all dejected... legs dragging, head drooped to the side.. hands holding neither guitar pick nor drum sticks.. and den, a sweet lil' angel appeared before me, and handed me one!!! Oh my freakin god!!!!! Shianny!!! You rock!!! This guitar pick is now my lucky charm! ahaa! Can't believe you just handed it to me !! Oh, did I mention you rock?! Thanks sweetie!!!!
This is the guitar pick, behind writes Nicholas Don Wheeler, the cute guy that Jojobar likes, ahaa!
After the concert, everyone looks satisfied, yet weary...
And now, I'll leave you with a clip of the concert, please forgive the lack of quality, alot of shakin and trembling due to the drunkards and fat chicks ramming into me...
Just came back from a movie, watched Hoodwinked, quite a funny show, if you guys haven't watched it and have extra cash to spare, den go watch it! Watched the movie at the Halfpipe, this theatre full of bean bags the size of my bed, damn comfy!! And after downing B151 shot wif Shianny and other alcoholic shit, felt a lil' sleepy, or maybe it's just getting late, haa...
This is the halfpipe theatre, with the enormous bean bags... comfy comfy... fluffy fluffy...
Went to this cool chill out bar called Van Gogh to waste time before the show, so Shian and i decided to do stupid things, which is equivalent to trying to get ourselves high... Jojo wanted to as well, but ordered wrong drink, ahaa!
After the show, the poster vigilante in me came out, and once again, another poster has been added to my collection, ahahaa!
A new poster!!!!!
Just a random pic of karupin sitting in my dustbin.. wat an idiot....
Ok, gonna go off to bed, quite tired... seeya peeps....

Dashboard Confessional and All American Rejects are coming to town, and guess what?! I'm going for both concerts!!! To celebrate this joyful occasion, the poster vigilante strikes again with the addition of a new poster 'obtained' from the streets, into his ever increasing collection, ahahahaaa!!!
Haven been updating this shitty blog for a while... been busy catching up with my school work, and part of me is just too lazy to update...
Was talking to Benny last nite... he was telling me how much he missed Melbourne, and most importantly, his gal who's studying here too. It got me thinking about lots of stuff... stuff like relationships and affairs of the heart...
Even though I hardly have any experience in that area, but it seems like people approach me for advice about love, and somehow I'm able to give them 'sound' advice on how to deal with their situations. I guess it's all the TV shows and movies that I've been watching, giving me all these ideas about what 'love' really is. This is one of the reasons why I dun bother about having a realtionship, because my expectations in a relationship are like that of a movie or a TV show, where everything is 'glammed up' and over exaggerated, and the worst part of it all is that I love tragic endings. I'm kinda twisted.. i know...
To me, love is like something u feel only when u're lonely, it's like u need a temporary company until u find some other entertainment. I dunno why so many of my frens are attached, but on the contrary, I feel so happy for benny and I-lynn... seeing the 2 of them together just melts my heart, haaa! I just contradicted myself, I know.. I can't figure myself out too.
For someone who's so cynical about love, I actually watched 'Love Actually' 5 times, and I get just as fascinated everytime i watch it. I guess I'm a hopeless romantic, like my sis said... A hopeless romantic without a heart, haa... wat an irony..
Once, I asked my fren why she wanted to get attached? Aren't frens enough? her reply was that having a partner means that she can share her thoughts with him, and she wouldn't feel lonely. But then I asked her, dun close frens share their deep dark secrets with each other too? And when one is lonely, can't he or she seek the company of the other? So my question is: What's the difference between a close fren and a partner? My answer would be physical contact, and I mean holding hands and all that mushy crap... other than that... I dun see any other difference. besides, now that everyone is getting more open, what's wrong with frens holding hands or hugging? ( please do not think brokeback mountain...) It actually blurs the lines that distinguish between close frens and partners.
People call me the love guru, ahahaa! But I'm a failure myself in the affairs of the heart. I've gotten frens together, and I've helped solve my frens' relatonship problems. They have tried to pair me up with people, and made me think otherwise about relationships, but it ended up with them spewing blood from every hole on their bodies.. I prefer being a love advisor, it's so much fun, something like The Sims, but real life!
In a nutshell, I'm a skeptic of love, but I'm a hopeless romantic. Full stop. hahaaa! How random..
